Catering Staff

Servers
Our servers are well trained, professional, friendly and polite. Whether they are tray passing hors d’oeuvres for a brief reception, or serving a five course meal at a formal seated dinner party, our team serves your guest with style.

Bartenders
All our bartenders are TABC certified, professionally trained, and know how to fix a wide variety of drinks.  They will bring their own bar tools such as cocktail shakers, bottle openers and a wine tool.  The art of Mixology brought to you by Silver Tray Staffing.

Team Captains
Whether following directions from your event manager or one of our event leads, our team captains are trained to manage teams of staff and orchestrate their duties in harmony with the event timeline. Bar captains will manage the bars and control the supply chain to replace depleted beverage, garnishment and ice inventory to multiple bar locations.  STS team captains are the eyes and ears for the event manager!

Event Leads
Have a large event and don’t want the burden of overseeing all of the logistical magic needed to keep your event running smoothly?  Our event leads can manage every part of your event from set-up to break down. They will delegate responsibilities to team captains, make team assignments, and provide a game plan to make sure that service happens in timely manner. The event lead also becomes the “information booth” to all catering staff so you are not subjected to all the questions that arise from larger event. Sit back, relax and focus on your guest!

Uniform Standards

Staff Appearance

  • Shoes to be black polish able leather, clean and in good condition
  • (no open toe, high heels, sneakers, boots or slippers that show top of feet)
  • Clothing to be clean and well pressed upon arrival
  • The neck tie must be solid black with no patterns, logo, or texture
  • Men to wear basic black belt with basic buckle
  • Each staff person should also have a wine tool in their pocket
     
  • No Excessive or large jewelry
  • No visible tattoos or facial piercing
  • No unnatural hair colors or extreme hair styles
  • Hair long enough to be pulled up or back, need to be
  • Men with facial hair shall keep it short and well groomed
  • Fingernail polish needs to be neutral, or on polish is preferred
